Starting in January 1931, the NP dismantled a number of Pullman built reefers to salvage parts for a new lot of 1000 reefers in the 90000-90999 series. The new cars rolled out in July 1931.
The cars were built with wood sheathing on the sides and ends, and steel underframe and steel channel side sills. As built they had K brakes, and were upgraded to AB brakes in the 1940s, along with the addition of Creco fans on some cars, and replacement cast side-frame trucks.
The kit is a one piece cast resin body from new hand built masters, with photo-etched details, laser cut running boards, Tahoe Model Works truck frames and Black Cat decals.

Due to changes at US Customs and Border Protection and Canada Post, we are no longer able to mail small parts orders as letter mail. As a result we have to implement a minimum order policy effective immediately.
Orders will now have to be at least $40.00 before shipping costs are added.
